Here’s a thought…or 17….

How about we quit counting calories and focus instead on how many colors you can put on your plate.

Every time you check how many likes your recent selfie got, you check in with your breath. {~deep inhale in the the nose~~~~and~~~~out through the mouth~repeat 4 more times~}

Stop taking selfies and just work on the breath part.

Be nice to your reflection. Sincerity goes a long way and you know when you’re not being true to yourself. Would you talk like that to your friend? I didn’t think so…

Smile more. Giggles are bonus points and full on laughs are super hero status.

List what you’re grateful for instead of what’s wrong with your life. Perception is everything.

Stop wearing STRESS as a badge of honor.

Move your body because it feels good. And in ways that feel good. Stop worrying about doing it “right” or looking good. If it feels good, it’s right.

Kill your microwave. Slow food tastes better and provides more nutrients.

Stop using single use plastic. We are choking the planet.

Live with love in mind. Be part of the ripple that WILL grace this planet.

Drink more water.

Don’t consume anything “diet” or “low-fat” or “fat free”.

Stop listening to the media, magazines, tweets, books and grams and tune in to your intuition. It knows more about you than “they” do.

Don’t compare yourself to “them” either. Compare yourself to your self – are you doing/being/acting/eating/moving the best way you know how?

Love YOU. Your body, your mind, your emotions…they are yours for the duration and TOTALLY worth adoring.

Stop starving yourself and Just. Eat. Real. Food.

    We are our biggest critics, I agree that we need to give ourselves a break like we do the people around us. Life is a journey and I learn something new every day, and I am trying to be more open to what life brings my way instead of being so set on the way I want things to be.
