    “This is a human thing…. And this is why I car “This is a human thing…. And this is why I care. It’s taken more than a hot minute to give myself grace for how much I want to pay attention. I didn’t used to be this way. By living in remote areas, I’ve gotten really good at creating a bubble and not giving a shit what was going on outside of it. I used to not care about politics at all. I used to easily ignore what the government told me to do. I never signed up for any party affiliation because none of it fully resonated with me. I’ve always been suspicious of anyone who tells me to do something “just because.” 2020 changed all of that in me. Or maybe it was motherhood, or Florida, or my 40s, or the pandemic… a combination of all of the above, no doubt. I departed from the mainstream medical methods of healing and health almost a decade ago. That’s when I first started blogging and writing about my experiences (I’ve missed this practice and hope this is a full fledged return). I healed, holistically, from an autoimmune diagnosis (Ulcerative Colitis) and embarked on a training to become a health coach. I consider this to be the first “veil” to have dropped in my life.” An expert from some recent writing… more will be published soon. Website is almost there, along with a studio remodel. I have “content” bursting at the seams! 🤪 So far, 2021 has been intense, and it feels good to take a breather instead of the go-go-go of a typical new year. The world of social media has changed a lot over the last few months. I’m not so sure about it anymore but I can’t seem to fully let go… not just yet, at least. There’s a lot of connection still to be had, and connection is what I crave most these days. I sincerely hope this finds you tending to your vulnerable sides with grace, strengthening your boundaries with kindness, and flexing your love muscle daily. ❤️🙏 More from me is surely to come ✨💫 So.     ✨The 2020 Ornament Collection is almost complete ✨The 2020 Ornament Collection is almost complete!✨ This year, Ornaments will be sold 3 ways: 1️⃣ In person - Meet me at the Studio! 2️⃣ Locally in @pineapplemarketplace on Pine Ave, Anna Maria, FL 3️⃣ Through a direct message (DM) based on the options highlighted in the 2020 Ornament Story on Instagram - which is where you'll be able to view every single ornament with an item number for reference. While I do work in design batches, each ornament is hand painted and one of a kind. Once the collection is released, the supplies are being put away and will only come out for workshops (dates for those and online availability coming soon, stay tuned!).     I’ve been doing a fun thing over on @ratherbecre I’ve been doing a fun thing over on @ratherbecreative where every day I paint something and auction it off for 24 hours (swipe for the last 2 weeks of projects). Every Friday I’m giving the project away and this week it’s this hand painted tarpon ornament. Super easy to enter, basically just tagging 3 friends (and a hug 🤗 we all need more hugs ❤️).
