I’ve been doing a fun thing over on @ratherbecreative where every day I paint something and auction it off for 24 hours (swipe for the last 2 weeks of projects). Every Friday I’m giving the project away and this week it’s this hand painted tarpon ornament. Super easy to enter, basically just tagging 3 friends (and a hug 🤗 we all need more hugs ❤️). Total transparency: I’m asking you to help me build my audience so as I launch my career as an artist it doesn’t fall on deaf ears. Because this is an experimental idea, I’m not going to beat myself up for having to switch the schedule. It’s only been a week, for goodness sake!

But, for the record, it’s hard to give that grace to myself. 🤷‍♀️✨

I had some lovely participants show up last week and we decided to continue chatting about the same podcast episode we began with - The Kate and Mike Show, Episode 194 “How (and Why) to Love Your Opponent with Valerie Kaur.”

I’ve had so many people reach out to me to tell me how much they enjoyed this podcast. I’ve been surprised by how many (and who) I’ve touched with this gesture of suggesting a listen. It gives me courage to continue. Whether it’s @katenorthrup and @mikejwatts (of whom I’ve been in love with for years) or Valerie Kaur (who I’ve just met, through this episode) who interests you, I’m glad you heard what you did and that any part of it resonates with you.

I’m looking forward to many more conversations about many more podcasts and conversations that are out there. There really are so many amazing people doing awesome things in our world.

I feel blessed to be able to say that I have tons and tons and TONS of amazing friends out there doing awesome things and being kind, loving humans. I hope all of you are well in these weird-ass times. I think of you often and I miss you dearly. ❤️
