A ‘Mountain Girl’ doing Life on an Island…

In an effort to avoid the cliche, I’ve always shied away from calling Nature my “muse”. But let’s be honest - I swoooooon over Her beauty.

Our planet is a remarkably resilient and simply a gorgeous place. I’m grateful for her bounty, grace, and infinite variety of beauty. From the tops of mountains to the incessant waves of the sea, rivers & streams to flat fields, the gentle float of the clouds to the precise detail of the leaves, I’m constantly inspired by the magic that surrounds us every single day.

Our home is alive and only seeks to let us thrive as part of her delicate ecosystem. And yet, sadly, our society treats her as though she is something to be conquered, sterilized and reaped of bounty for power. I believe strongly in doing my part to better this planet. A portion of proceeds from all art sales are donated to the non profit, Farmer’s Footprint, assisting and encouraging failing farms in the US to transition to regenerative farming practices. When we heal the planet, we live healthy lives. Please follow the link for more details, and thank you for all you do in your life that supports sustainability, creativity, and a healthy home.
