Be Creative Studio - Online Art Session 9

Welcome to another Be Creative Session - On the Road again. Today we played with Acrylic Paints outside on my parent's porch in Evergreen, CO. Please be mindful of how permanent Acrylic paint can be, this will require either quick cleanup (while it's still wet), or preparing your surface by covering with newspaper or a reusable tablecloth. Wear old clothes or an apron. You'll notice today we used a lot more paper towels than usual, this is also because of the permanence of Acrylic paint - I'm away from my studio rags and didn't want to be staining all the towels in my mom's kitchen. You'll want to have plenty of ability to wipe up paint, there will be excess with this method. We used watercolor paper cut into 1/4 sheets, any card stock, poster board, or mixed media paper will work great. If you have any scraping tools (from screen printing perhaps) collect them, otherwise use recyclables for both your painting surface and to scrape the paint. Hope you enjoy this fun new method I've been playing with!
