Are you working from your Shoebox Studio? These are the Art Supplies we Create from in this membership…
This Art Session was scheduled at a later time than usual (7pm vs. 11am or 3pm), and it's interesting how it feels different. Also, my family joined me towards the end, so we got distracted and everyone painted for the last part. Unscripted and unedited is how we roll over here. Before that, we explored creating patterns in some of our older pieces. We worked with our Posca paint pens from the Shoebox Studio, or you could also use any other fine- tipped marker or pen and achieve the same effect. This one definitely dips into the therapy side of things... it's a simple, almost Zenful exercise that is great for the busy mind (if you resist this one, that's likely you!). It's not something I dabble in often, but I can appreciate the way it stretches my Creative Brain (because I, too, don't like to slow down). Enjoy!
Today we explored the Acrylic Ink from our Shoebox Studio. The Creatives who joined us had a few extra colors so we were able to explore mixing the inks on 3 different papers - mixed media, watercolor, and yupo paper. Enjoy exploring in the same way with watercolors if you don't have the multiple colors of inks available to you.
